"Equipe cirúrgica" = the surgical team — está certíssimo. Também vale the surgical staff ou the operating team.
Sobrenome dela em inglês: Dr. Hott. Diga o nome completo uma vez ("Dr. Danyelle Hott") e depois "Dr. Hott" ou "Danyelle".
A paciente vem fazer pálpebra e lipoenxertia.

"We place the implant behind the pectoral muscle. The muscle covers the upper part, so the shape looks more natural, the edge of the implant does not show, and it does not interfere with your mammograms. The scar is L-shaped — around the areola, down, and a short line in the fold — and it fades over the first year."
"You will not look different — you will look rested. People will say you look well, and they will not know why."

"On the upper eyelid, we remove the excess skin, and the scar hides inside the natural crease — after a few months you cannot find it. On the lower eyelid, we usually work from inside, so there is no visible scar at all, and instead of just removing the fat, we reposition it to fill the hollow underneath. That is why the result looks natural and not empty."
Diga "fat grafting, or lipofilling, as you may know it in France" e ela relaxa na hora.

"We take a small amount of fat from your tummy or your thighs with a fine cannula, we purify it, and we inject it exactly where the face has lost volume — the temples, the tear trough, the cheekbones. It is your own tissue: no filler, no foreign material, no allergy possible. Part of it is reabsorbed, so we slightly overfill at first — about sixty to seventy percent stays permanently. It also improves the quality of your skin, because fat carries regenerative cells."
O que dizer sem ela perguntar: "For the first two weeks you will look swollen and bruised, and I want you to expect that, because that is the part patients are not prepared for. Do not plan any social event for ten days. After that, it is only good news."

A palavra é recovery, não "recuperation". Existe "recuperation", mas ninguém usa. Diga: the recovery period, the recovery time, how long is the recovery?
Repouso = rest. Mas a frase que médico usa é "take it easy" — "take it easy for the first two weeks". E o que ela realmente quer saber é time off work (quantos dias parada) e when can I fly.

A regra nº1, e ela é contraintuitiva: NÃO use as siglas latinas.
Escreva por extenso, em inglês simples: "Take 1 tablet by mouth twice a day for 7 days."

1. Nunca zero à direita: escreva 5 mg, jamais 5.0 mg — a vírgula some e vira 50.
2. Sempre zero à esquerda: escreva 0.5 mg, jamais .5 mg.

Diga "the fifteenth of September" ou "September fifteenth".
Em inglês europeu se diz o "and": one thousand three hundred and fifty.
Se ela pressionar por preço antes da avaliação: "I would rather give you an exact number after Dr. Hott sees your photos — I don't want to give you a price that changes later."

Primeiro, o atalho: "It is Hott — with two T's — and then Torturella. So there are three T's together in the middle."

| Enchanté | an-shan-TÊ | "Nice to meet you" — a versão masculina, que é a sua. Diga logo após o bonjour. |
O roteiro de 8 segundos que funciona:
"Bonjour, madame ! Enchanté. …That is almost all the French I have — shall we continue in English?"
No fim: "Merci beaucoup, madame.

O gancho universal: "free of glasses".

| Monofocal | a monofocal lens | "Sharp distance vision, but you will still need reading glasses." |
| Tórica | a toric lens | "It also corrects your astigmatism." |
| Multifocal / trifocal | a trifocal lens | "Far, middle and near — the best chance of living without glasses." |
| EDOF | an extended-depth-of-focus lens | "Excellent distance and screen vision, softer on night glare." |
| Tórica multifocal | a trifocal toric lens | "For astigmatism and reading at the same time." |
| Monovisão | monovision | "One eye for distance, one for near — the brain merges them." |
A explicação que fecha (decore):
"We replace the natural lens with an artificial one — it is the same operation as cataract surgery, but done earlier. It takes about ten minutes per eye, with drops only, one eye at a time, usually a week apart. With a trifocal lens, most patients live without glasses for distance, screen and reading. And you will never develop a cataract, because the natural lens is gone."
"With multifocal lenses, some patients see halos and glare around lights at night in the first months. The brain adapts, but I want you to know before, not after."
E: "I cannot promise zero glasses. I can promise that most of your day will not need them."

"We would do the eyes first, in the first days: it is quick, it is done with drops, and you recover in forty-eight hours. Then the plastic surgery. That way, during the plastic recovery — when you are resting and not allowed to do much — you are already seeing well without glasses."
Cuidado a declarar em voz alta: "We never do eye surgery and plastic surgery on the same day, and never both under the same anaesthesia. Safety comes before convenience."
